FOUR Decades Later Another John Wayne Gacy Victim Identified

On Monday, October 25th, 2021, the Cook County Sheriff’s Department announced they identified the remains of Francis Wayne Alexander, a North Carolina native who was found in Gacy’s crawl space on Dec. 26, 1978.

Authorities believe Gacy killed Alexander, who would have been 21 or 22 at the time, between early 1976 and early 1977.

He was identified through DNA evidence and genealogical databases and DNA evidence was conducted through a tooth.

Francis’ family was notified and was quoted as saying the following –

“It is hard, even 45 years later, to know the fate of our beloved Wayne,” Wayne’s family said in a statement. “He was killed at the hands of a vile and evil man. Our hearts are heavy and our sympathies go out to the other victims’ families. Our only comfort is knowing this killer no longer breathes the same air as we do.”

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer and sex offender known as the Killer Clown who assaulted and murdered at least 33 young men and boys. Gacy regularly performed at children’s hospitals and charitable events as “Pogo the Clown” or “Patches the Clown”.

The Whaley Mansion!

Halloween History | "The Whaley House" San Diego's Most Well-Known Haunted House | Pacific Sotheby's International Realty

Isn’t it neat!
And haunted! LOL
It’s in San Diego, California and it’s now a museum you can visit anytime you’re near!
How fun, right?

Neither of us had ever heard this one before and it’s a lot simpler of a tale than the Winchester House but it’s still a neat one to hear nonetheless!
Nothing wrong with a little haunting and a few ghosts!

ALSO – something fun!
We’ve got a Digital Download Halloween coloring book on our website now!
It’s fun and geared towards adults but children can dolor it too if they’re looking for a harder book to color.

#40 – Where Is Brian Schaffer?

This case drives me INSANE and I remember it so much – where is Brian Schaffer?
How can one person just disappear?
No traces – nothing.
Where did he go?
Is he dead? Alive?
Hiding?
WHERE IS BRIAN SCHAFFER?!

This episode is short and to the point – because it’s one of those that needs to be and also because Ashli does this one on her own.
That’s right folks – Eric is gone this week!
Boooooo!

So I picked a case that drives me mad – and that’s the case of Brian Schaffer and his disappearance.
It’s one that I’ve always wondered if we will ever solve.
I feel like there’s more we don’t know but you’ll hear it in this episode.
Let’s discuss!

Todays story is kind of a haunting and kind of a history lesson – we talk about the Winchester Mystery House!
Sarah Winchester made this house what it is today – but why?
Well – let us tell you!

I want to go here SO BAD and take the tour – they offer two so of course I think I need to take both – but I would LOVE to do this one day!
It’s so fascinating to see and it would be amazing to see the rooms and how it’s built – it’s so cool!
