This episode is one we mentioned in Episode 36 and we couldn’t stop thinking about it so we thought it was one we should bring up and discuss for real. The case of Timmothy Pitzen!
Timmothy has been missing since May 2011 and the case has been cold for a long, long time. It’s one of those cases that you can’t believe happened and you have no idea what actually happened and probably never will.
At the end of the episode you’ll hear how Ashli has hope for Timmothy being found because she really hopes he is and hopes he sees anything saying HEY THIS IS YOU COME OUT – but you never really know.
Is he just gone? Is he deceased? Is he safe? No one knows – but hopefully one day we will!
Episode 36 is one that we have a soft sport for because it’s a missing person cases that has been going on since 2010 and has no leads and no reported suspects. It’s the missing person Kyron Horman.
Kyron was from Oregon and went missing on June 4, 2010 so he will have been missing 11 years in a few days as I write this on May 31, 2021. There are no leads. No suspects. Nothing. It’s like he was plucked out of thin air – so what happened? Listen to this weeks episode and find out.
It’s always interesting to learn about new crimes or missing people and this one was no different.
My friend Sarah told me about this case and I was baffled! I had never heard of something so crazy – a tornado AND a missing person? ALL AT THE SAME TIME AND IN THE SAME PLACE! And you might be thinking – how is that weird? Well… listen to this episode and you’ll find out!
Joan Gay Croft was a regular girl – until a tornado came through and wiped out her town. What happens next has nothing to do with the twister – or does it?
Find out on this last episode of Marriage, Hauntings, and Murder and see what you think about what happened to Joan!
Honestly – I’ve never liked clowns and when I learned of Gacy …. whenever I learned of him then I knew clowns were a definite no go. Not a fan of clowns.
He not only had ONE clown persona but two. Pogo was a nice clown and Patches was the darker clown persona. I mean if that’s not creepy then I don’t know what is.
But he was a smart man with a good work ethic and he did work hard for his life – he just also made some bad, bad, bad decision….. really bad. He is one of the most known serial killers but his story always just blows my mind.
Come hear what we have to say about Gacy and why I hate clowns forever and ever.
This case really sticks with me – and has for a long time – but there HAS been recent updates kind of and we need to talk about it!
If you aren’t aware of Kristin Smart let me fill you in real fast.
Kristin has been missing since the early morning hours of May 25, 1996. An giant search of the campus turned up few clues but not many. Fellow student and party-goer Paul Flores was the last person to see her and is the prime suspect in this still-open case. At around 2AM on May 25, 1996 the birthday party Kristin was attending had ended and party-goers dispersed, Kristin included. She was apparently so drunk that she passed out on the neighbor’s front yard. A Few friends and a man named Paul Flores found her and offered to help walk Kristin back to the campus while Paul even allowed her to lean on him for support since she was still tipsy. One man, Tim, said goodnight to the group and let Cheryl, Kristin, and Paul head back to the dorms together. Eventually, the group of three arrived near the dorms. Cheryl lived further down the block from Kristin, so she asked if Paul wanted to see Kristin safely to her room. Paul agreed to walk her to her room and said goodbye to Cheryl. However, Paul claimed that the two parted ways that night, each going to their respective dorm rooms. Many suspected foul play on behalf of Paul.
Now according to KSBY News there has been some sort of updates! There was a search at Ruben Flores’ house – who is the father of Paul Flores. Paul has been the main suspect since 1996 and on March 16 – March 17 a blue tent could be seen set up near the home’s back deck Tuesday morning, a section of lattice below the deck had been removed, and investigators with shovels could be seen removing orange buckets from the area. They also used ground-penetrating radar was used to search around the deck.
This case is still considered ACTIVE and ONGOING.
In 2020 they found “items of interest” having to do with Kristin and Paul but they haven’t said much about that either – but whatever happened recently is intriguing…. especially the digging.
According to another news article by KSBY Susan Flores, Pauls mother, has spoken up about Paul. She was quoted saying “We have no responsibility for her disappearance and what happened to that young woman, and I’ve said it in a court of law.” But it’s hard to believe her when all the information stacks up as everything pointing to Paul…. but really, what do we know?
What do you think happened to Kristin Smart? Let us know!
Welcome to episode 29 where YET AGAIN we are talking about a cult I say yet again like we’ve talked about them all the time but it’s only our second one. So I guess I’ll say “SURPRISE A NEW CULT!”
Today we discuss Jim Jones and Jonestown. I didn’t know a TON about Jim Jones before I read up on him but I do know he’s an odd duck. Once you start thinking he’s good you see him do something horrible and vice versa. JUST PICK A SIDE JIM!!!
Well… he did!
GRAPHIC PICTURE AHEAD
He was a monster in the end – and we all saw it coming. It’s sad to see because the Jonestown massacre was one of the most devastating heartbreaks in history. Right up until 9/11 this held top tier for most people that died in one massacre. Listen below or find us on your favorite podcast app! https://anchor.fm/marriagehauntingsmurder
Episode 27 is out and it’s a case from none other than our home state – Missouri. It’s the cold case of Gina Dawn Brooks.
Gina went missing in 1989 in Fredricktown, MO and it’s one of the biggest cold cases and cases in MO to date. Gina went out after her brothers ball game and was riding her bike late at night. She went to meet up with her Boyfriend and his friend and a few moments after that she got taken by some people in a station wagon and has not been seen since.
The case remains cold to this day. There were charges pressed on one of the people suspected but as of 2020 they had been dropped. Listen to our episode to learn more and hear about all the suspects they have/had.
Tips are still coming in daily – you will here in this episode how to give a tip if you have any information.
Ahhh technology. Gotta love it when it’s what you rely on for WORK and you know… having a podcast. Today we talk about someone with two names – the Collector and the Kansas City Butcher…. a Serial Killer from Missouri named Robert Berdella Jr. And we will go ahead and say this…
This episode contains some GRAPHIC CONTENT and if you are not okay with hearing that then maybe this isn’t the episode for you!
Robert was known for torture, rape and so much more for his victims… and like I said before – it gets rough. He showed no remorse for his victims calling them “playtoys” and he didn’t care how much he hurt them he just kept doing what he wanted. He is definitely one of the worst ones we’ve talked about.
As you know if you love true crime – the Crime Scene The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel dropped today on Netflix.
It’s 4 episodes and we’ve already finished them…. AND we made our FIRST Minisode about it! Ahhhhhh.
But really – this story has always amazed and baffled us… until now. It DEFINITELY changed every little thing we thought about this case and her going missing and her death….. but maybe that’s a good thing? You need to check out the Netflix show and then listen to what we have to say! Maybe you’ll feel the same – maybe not. But let’s see!
